Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia came from 4-6 down in the first set to turn the match in her favour and beat Simona Halep in the French Open final 2017. World No 4 Halep was targeting her first Grand Slam title and also the No 1 rank. But her dream was crushed by the 20-year old Latvian who defeated her by 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
