Ramkumar Ramanathan snatched the biggest victory of his career when he defeated World No 7 Dominic Thiem in straight sets in Antalya Open. The tennis player from Chennai got past Thiem by 6-3, 6-2 in only 59 minutes. Ramanathan is currently ranked 222 in the world. After Leander Paes’ victory over Pete Sampras in 1998, Ramanathan’s win against Thiem in Turkey would be one of the highlights of Indian tennis.
