Prime Masters League Series 1- Team Sensattions win Table Tennis Tournament

The Prime Masters League Series 1 featured top Table Tennis veterans from Maharashtra. Among them, 55 players will be competing in the Veteran Nationals in Hyderabad.

Prime Masters League Series 1, a subsidiary of the esteemed Prime Table Tennis league, was held at Xperia Mall in Mumbai. Team Sensattions won the League, which became the first veterans Table Tennis League of the country.
 
Supported by Maharashtra State Veterans Table Tennis Committee, the League featured Table Tennis veterans who are 39 years and above. Being the first year, the league was open to the players of Maharashtra only. Eight teams competed in a team-format league, bringing together a total of 64 experienced players.
 
The finals were played between Team Sensattions and Team Spinxttreme. The Sensattions won over the Spinxttreme 8-4. Lion Warriors finished at the 3rd place and King Pong at the 4th place. Talking about the same Abhishek Jain CEO of Prime Table Tennis said, “A huge congratulations to team Sensattions for winning the league, also huge applause for the other teams and participants who participated in this league. The atmosphere and intensity was like something other, it was like these guys rolled back the years and showcased sensational table tennis. I would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Xperia Mall, Dombivali East and people who turned up at the venue to make it electrifying and memorable.” 
 
Notably, 55 out of the 64 players in the Prime Masters League will also be competing in the Nationals this year, making it a significant pre-national practice engagement. 
 
Dr. Angha Joshi of team Sensattions said, “I would like to thank TTC PALAVA and PTT Committee for organizing such a wonderful league. It is a very unique tournament and something that has a huge potential to grow. It was first for a lot of us playing at the Xperia Mall and also playing in front of such a crowd. Huge shoutout to all the people who turned up and cheered for everyone of use, you guys really made it memorable.”
