Paris Paralympics Day 3: Rubina Francis won India’s only medal, bringing the nation’s medal count to five.

On Paris Paralympics Day 3, Rubina Francis’ bronze in Women’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 was the 4th medal in Shooting and India’s 5th medal in total.

Francis, who had finished seventh during the qualifying round, finished third in the final with a score of 211.1 after 22 shots.

India had a quiet day in Paris on Day 3. Anita and K Narayana finished 3rd in Mixed Doubles Sculls. Nitesh Kumar and Manoj Sarkar won their group matches in Men’s Singles Badminton SL3.

But it was a heartbreak for Sheetal Devi as the World No 1 finished one point behind the Tokyo 2020 silver medallist Zuniga in the fifth and final end.
