Other Results- Paris Olympics Day 1

China won the first gold of the Paris Olympics. Their Air Rifle Mixed Team of Huang Yuting and Sheng Lihao beat Republic of Korea’s Kim Jihyeon and Park Hajun 16-12 in the summit clash to win the gold.

China also won gold medal in the Women’s Diving event.

Australia secured two gold medals. The first one came in Road Cycling and the second one in Swimming. Ariarne Titmus defended her 400m Freestyle title.

France won its first gold medal of the 2024 Games in Rugby Sevens. They defeated Fiji in the final.
