Vietnam Grand Master defeated Indian GM Neelotpal Das in the 10th Mumbai Mayor’s Cup International Chess Tournament. After the 9th round both the players were tied at 7.5 points. But Nguyen emerged champion when he finished the 10th round with 8.5 points. GM Farrukh Amonatov became the runner up. Neeloptpal finished 3rd along with GM Diptayan Ghosh.
