The Indian men’s hockey team successfully defended the Asian Champions Trophy title by defeating China 1-0.

India became the most successful team in the history of the Asian Champions Trophy tournament with a record of five titles. India retained the trophy for the second time and previously achieved back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2018.

India’s winning goal came with Jugraj Singh’s strike in the 51st minute of the match. The Indian team stayed unbeaten throughout the tournament to take home the trophy.

A visual showed Pakistani players holding the Chinese flag during the final. The commentator quickly remarked that it was clear whom they were supporting. Interestingly, Pakistan had lost to China in the semi-final. However, they beat Korea in the third-place playoff.
