It was a repeat telecast of yesterday’s semifinal match between India and Iran at the Asian Games Men’s Kabaddi. The Indian Women’s team lost their final match against Iran to settle for a silver for the first time in the Asian Games. The two-time defending champions were shocked by 24-27.
After their male counterparts’ end of dominance, the Indian women were also shown the door by the Iranian girls. India’s raiders disappointed in the title clash as Iran came from behind to jolt them in the second half. The Indians were ahead at the initial stage of the match but Iran scored six points in a row to race to a 17-13 lead with an all-out.
