India was on songs in their opening match of the Champions Trophy Hockey when they defeated Pakistan by 4-0. They demonstrated their supremacy over their arch-rival by clinically displaying skill by scoring four fantastic field goals.
Ramandeep Singh scored the first goal in 26th minute followed by Dilpreet Singh in the 54th miute, Mandeep Singh in the 57th minute and Lalit Upadhayay in the 60th minute. This inspirational win came after Harendra Singh took over as India Men’s team coach after the disastrous performance in the Commonwealth Games 2018.
India, eyeing its maiden Champions Trophy title, will play reigning Olympic champions Argentina in their next round-robin league match.
