This day saw one of the greatest comeback in the history of Test cricket. It was the second Test between India and Australia. India had already followed on and were further reduced to 254 for 4 in their second innings. They were on the brink of an innings defeat. But two superhuman act completely changed the things. VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid made the fourth day their own and went from strength to strength to win the match for India. Laxman scored 281, the highest Test score by an Indian at that time and Rahul Dravid made 155. India not only went ahead in the match but sealed it for them. Earlier in the match, Harbhajan took the first Test hat-trick by an Indian, on his way to 13 wickets in the match.
